Northern Lights

Went over to Lake Superior to get some shots of the Northern Lights (aurora) last night. She was very active and stunning to watch. It was super windy and chilly but so worth it. By the naked eye, it was mainly white... some tint of green. Amazing how looking through a camera lens brings all the colors out.

I took the photos with iPhone 15 Pro. It does pretty well. They are unedited except that I straightened the horizons... because crooked horizons drive me crazy! I have a hefty Nikon camera but I get discouraged with that to shoot auroras. So much tinkering around with a tripod and getting the settings just right.
